This project presents a program of original arrangements for Big Band of some famous “modern” classics of the new generation of Brazilian composers (Hermeto Pascoal, Chico Buarque, Guinga), arrangements expressly conceived for the vocalist Maria Pia De Vito, also author of the translation into Neapolitan dialect of some of the original texts.
The concert calls for the presence of the usual collaborator of the singer: the excellent English pianist Huw Warren. The lineup includes the following pieces: Construcao, Facimmo Ampresso, Beatriz, Frevo em Maceio, Contenda, Cine Baronesa, A Volta do Malandro, Olha Maria (in duo), Chorinho pra Ele.
